What if you knew something you werent supposed to know. And it’s about someone you care about. And you know that they need someone. But you cant or else they would know that you know and it would cause a conflict.

I would take the sacrifice… But will it do more good then harm

    Hmm

When everyone is falling apart, someone has to stay strong. Because in the end, eveyones going to get hurt. “God has given me two hands, one for others and one for myself”. At times like this, I can’t help but give both my hands to others. No matter how much pain I go through, I will sacrifice everything just so someone can be happy. Though it doesn’t end well for me, I would never forgive myself if I did nothing. I just pray that his works.

    Meh?

You know that wierd feeling you get when you see or hear something that reminds you of some old memories. That odd course of nostalgia that makes you want to cry. Maybe it’s just me, but it’s seems like after all this time, I’m still not over it… Makes me wonder how long before I get some closure. I don’t want to chase behind someone who doesn’t want me in the first place. But why is it that every time I try to go my own way, I end up running back the same direction. Then again no one gives a fuck. So I might as well just suck I up like I always do. I just wanted someone to lean on. Simple as that. But I gotta appreciate what I got now. Good day~

Washington, DC Metro Station on a cold January morning in 2007. The man with a violin played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time approximately. 2 thousand people went through the station, most of them on their way to work.
4 minutes later:The violinist received his first dollar: a woman threw the money in the hat and, without stopping, continued to walk.
6 minutes:A young man leaned against the wall to listen to him, then looked at his watch and started to walk again.
10 minutes:A 3-year old boy stopped but his mother tugged him along hurriedly. The kid stopped to look at the violinist again, but the mother pushed hard and the child continued to walk, turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. Every parent, without exception, forced their children to move on quickly.
45 minutes:The musician played continuously. Only 6 people stopped and listened for a short while. About 20 gave money but continued to walk at their normal pace. The man collected a total of $32.
1 hour:He finished playing and silence took over. No one noticed. No one applauded, nor was there any recognition.
No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the greatest musicians in the world. He played one of the most intricate pieces ever written, with a violin worth $3.5 million dollars. Two days before Joshua Bell sold out a theater in Boston where the seats averaged $100.
This is a true story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro station was organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste and people’s priorities.
The questions raised:
Do we recognize talent in an unexpected context?
Do we stop to appreciate it?
In a common place environment at an inappropriate hour, do we perceive beauty?
One possible conclusion reached from this experiment could be this:If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world, playing some of the finest music ever written, with one of the most beautiful instruments ever made…
How many other things are we missing?

  • Having little problems in life can just be as bad as having huge explosive, dramatic problems. Because it’s those little problems that will constantly drive to the edge without you even knowing it. So for all those people who seem so happy all the time. They deserve a hug. Cause for all you know, their just dying inside. You just don’t notice.
